Strong Enough to Rest: Finding Balance Beyond the Gym
Many women are being told to lift heavy, train harder, and push further—especially through perimenopause and beyond. Strength training and endurance exercise are powerful tools, but in my practice I’m seeing something surprising: women over 60 who are fit, disciplined, and doing “all the right things” are showing elevated A1c on their labs. Could it be that the body is asking for balance, recovery, and a new definition of strength?
