About Me

Hello! I'm Dr. Debra.

As someone who has always been athletic and interested in nutrition, I studied the work of Jack LaLanne, Covert Bailey, Nathan Pritikin, Charles and Patricia Bragg, beginning in high school. As an undergraduate student at UCSB I took my first official nutrition course and worked on campus at the Wellness and Fitness Institute. I became interested in herbal medicine and homeopathy during my undergraduate years and studies in France, all of which led me to discover naturopathic medicine and National College of Naturopathic Medicine (now National University of Natural Medicine) in Portland, OR, where I received my Naturopathic Doctorate degree.

I’ve been involved with nutrition and herbal medicine in some capacity for over 30 years and integrative and functional medicine for over 25 years. I enjoy working with individuals interested in healthy aging, regenerative "medicine," including bioidentical peptide therapies, hormone optimization, executive lifestyle coaching, and high-level wellness. I enjoy working with individuals who are extremely committed and ready to take their health and their lives to the next level of thriving.

Allow me to be your guide in cultivating the tools to create healthy, more mindful responses to life’s challenges. My goal is that you will learn to recognize what may be preventing you from living your most radiant life, and how to identify the habits, mindsets and other areas where you may be compromising your well-being. I provide holistic, science-based, practical, and tangible solutions to support you in living in alignment with your highest values and intentions.

Outside of work I enjoy hiking, tennis, cooking, pickleball and I recently completed my 200-hr certification as a yoga instructor.
